Valley 70, Greenbrier West 58
SMITHERS — The Class A No. 10 Valley Greyhounds jumped out to a 37-23 first half lead and held on to defeat Greenbrier West Tuesday in the second round of the Hometown Invitational Tournament.
Raeshawn Breckenridge led all scorers with 21 points for Valley, while Keyshawn Payne and Eric McGinnis added 17 points apiece.
Colby Ennis led the Cavaliers with 17 points and Zach Johnson had 13 points.
Valley (10-4) travels to Oak Hill Friday.
