CLEAR FORK — The Class AA No. 1 Westside Lady Renegades used a solid defensive effort to roll past No. 4 Summers County 65-32 Monday to remain undefeated on the season.

Hope Lester led the scoring with 20 points, while Megan Endicott contributed a double-double for the Lady Renegades, finishing with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Faith Davis and Danielle Brown added nine points apiece and Morgan Spolarich dished out 10 assists for Westside.

Brandy Morrison led the Lady Bobcats with 12 points.

Westside (11-0) travels to PikeView tonight.

The Wyoming East Lady Warriors jumped out to a quick 20-4 lead and cruised past host Shady Spring.

Chelsea Duncan led the way with a game-high 22 points and Bre Pertee added 17 for Wyoming East. Chiara Jewell chipped in 10.

Morgan Hylton led the Lady Tigers with 20 points, while Kaylee Dickenson added nine.

Shady Spring hosts Woodrow Wilson Friday.

DUNMORE — Class A No. 6 Pocahontas County defeated Class A No. 7 Tygarts Valley Monday on a last-second layup by Heather Snead.

Tristan Day penetrated the lane as time was winding down and hit Snead for the winning score as time expired.

Olivia Workman led the scoring for the Lady Warriors with 13 points, while Melissa Murphy scored seven points and grabbed eight rebounds before leaving with an injury.

Shanda Howell led Tygarts Valley with a game-high 15 points.

Pocahontas County (10-4) travels to Moorefield Friday.

GRUNDY, Va. — Akasa Benton scored 19 points, hauled down 14 rebounds and had eight steals for River View, which lost its key player Chelsey Dobbs to injury in the second quarter. Dobbs already had 12 rebounds and six points when she left the game.

Kiersten Dority had 12 points, and Phyllis Waldron had 10 rebounds and five steals for River View (1-11).

Mountain Mission tossed in seven three-pointers. Heran Hailu had three of them on her way to 14 points. Nebyat Adem has 12 points.
