Girls: Nicholas County 58, Webster County 36

UPPER GLADE — Senior Shealyn Shafer scored the 1,000th point of her career and had a triple-double to lead the Nicholas County Lady Grizzlies past Webster County.

Shafer finished with 21 points, 13 rebounds and 10 steals in the win.

Nicole Hamilton and Mykenzie Martin added 10 points apiece for Nicholas County.

Senior Brandi Clevenger led the Lady Highlanders with 14 points and Taylor Anderson scored 10.

Nicholas County (8-1) hosts county rival Richwood Tuesday.
