Greenbrier West 44, PikeView 0

CHARMCO — Class A No. 2 Greenbrier West rolled up 451 yards on the ground on the way to a shutout win over PikeView.

Tyler Parker gained 126 yards on the night and scored twice (56, 3), while Malik Boatwright rushed for 119 and one touchdown (42). Boatwright also scored on a 73-yard punt return for the Cavaliers.

Chase McClung (7) and Corey Cox each added a touchdown run for the Cavaliers.

Greenbrier West (5-1) travels to Pocahontas County next Friday.

HINTON — Luke Moye hit Troy Helton on a 50-yard touchdown pass with 2:52 left in the fourth quarter to lift Covington, Va., past Summers County Friday.

Prior to the game winning catch, Helton had scored three rushing touchdowns (13, 10, 8) and Moye had scored from one-yard out for Covington.

T.J. Smith ran for one touchdown (1) and threw for another (14) to Eric Lindsey to lead the Bobcats.

Isaiah Brown (10) and Dustin Smith (1) scored one rushing touchdown apiece for Summers County.

Summers County (3-3) hosts Independence next Friday.
