Big second quarter powers Westside to 62-24 win

CLEAR FORK — The Renegades exploded for 32 second-quarter points to put away the Golden Knights.

Sophomore quarterback Justin Cogar keyed Westside with 114 yards rushing and three touchdowns. He also passed for 109 yards and found Dylan Newsome twice in the end zone on 3-yard passes. He also hit Mike Mullens for a 7-yard TD.

Mullens ran for 139 yards and a 16-yard score.

Maurice Brown scored twice for Mount View (3-6).

Westside, still with an outside chance for a playoff berth, travels Friday to River View.
