— The office of recorder and three council seats will be on the ballot in Lewisburg’s municipal election, set for June 11.

Recorder Shannon Ninnemann has indicated she will run for re-election, but there is no word yet from incumbent Council members Mark Etten, Josh Baldwin or Andrew Evans regarding whether they will seek an additional four-year term.

Lewisburg nominating conventions must be held no later than the first Tuesday in March (March 5). Ninnemann says she has not yet received information on convention scheduling from the city’s two parties — the Citizens’ Party and the People’s Party.

Municipal elections are held every two years in Lewisburg, with roughly half of council and either the mayor or the recorder on the ballot. The term of office for each is four years.
