The Little General convenience store on South Eisenhower Drive was robbed Tuesday at 6:45 a.m., according to Beckley Police.
Sgt. David Allard said the suspect indicated he had a weapon and obtained an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last seen on foot going toward Huffman Street.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall and a medium build. He was wearing a gray t-shirt with a white undershirt, a black hat, jeans, and a bandana covering his face.
Police are working to obtain video surveillance from surrounding businesses and Allard urges anyone with further information about this crime to contact Beckley Police at 304-256-1708 or CrimeStoppers at 304-255-STOP.
