Fayette County Sheriff Steve Kessler says a Fayette County deputy who was involved in a serious motorcycle accident last weekend is recovering at home.
Cpl. Steve Gray was injured while riding his bike in the Hico area of the county when the accident occurred.
Kessler says Gray is going to be “fine.”
“He just has to take it easy for a while,” Kessler said.
If all goes well, Gray is expected to be back on the road in four to five weeks.
Gray is the handler of Fayette County Sheriff’s K-9 Boss, a 3-1/2-year-old black lab donated by the Oak Hill Police Department.
