Auditions scheduled for 'Miracle'

Roles available for all ages

— Auditions will be held at Historic Fayette Theater for “Miracle on 34th Street” Monday and Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Director Gene Worthington, who has directed numerous plays at HFT, is in need of a large cast ensemble for this production.

There are 20 roles available for all ages, children through adult.

This hilarious, tender and charming show for the entire family is a Christmas classic,  the traditional story of Kris Kringle, the personification of good will and holiday spirit.

As Macy's holiday Santa, Kris enchants children and shoppers so completely that he is deemed dangerous by fellow employees who question his competency and plot to ruin him.

A small girl's belief in Santa and the magic of the holiday is at stake in a climactic courtroom decision.

Show performance dates are Nov. 29, 30 and Dec. 6, 7 at 8 p.m. and Dec. 1, 8 at 2 p.m.

Interested actors/actresses need to attend only one audition night.

A prepared piece is not necessary, as the director will have a script for you at the theater.
