West Virginia State Police in Greenbrier County said Thursday that a body of a woman was found Wednesday evening inside a burned Greenbrier County home belonging to Patricia Blake.
Police said they cannot with certainty say whose body was found in the home until after a report by the medical examiner’s office confirms the woman’s identity.
Police and several fire departments were called to the house fire along Mill Creek Road at Hines a little after 4 p.m. Wednesday. The fire and woman’s death is not currently deemed suspicious, but the incident is still under investigation, state police said.
