Raleigh County Schools officials are asking everybody to stop whatever they’re doing at 10 a.m. Thursday and JAM with the students in Raleigh schools.
Thursday is JAM Day 2013, when kids across the nation will try to break the JAM World Record — a national physical activity campaign that is led by students and schools.
Last year, West Virginia won the national challenge fitness challenge by having the most student participation.
The fitness routine is fun, quick and easy, according to Raleigh Schools spokesman Dave Traube.
Whichever state has the highest percentage of participants logging on, based on population, sets the record.
