Don’t miss your chance to wear jeans to work every single day during the week of Oct. 17-21.
How is that possible?
Well, if your business, school or other organization is registered with the United Way of Southern West Virginia for its Denim for a Difference fundraiser, you can.
For a $5 donation, you get one day of denim wear; $10 gets you a three-day pass; and for $15, you can wear jeans to work for the entire week.
Those dollars find their way to the United Way’s coffers to help it meet the $440,000 campaign goal to fund its 33 nonprofit community organizations supported by the United Way in Raleigh, Fayette, Summers, Nicholas and Wyo-ming counties.
To register, contact chairwoman Anna Lester at the United Way office at 304-253-2111 or by e-mail to alester@unitedwayswv.org. The registration deadline is Oct. 14.
The following have joined Denim for a Difference:
Hospice of Southern West Virginia
Bradley Elementary School
CVS – Lester Square
Morris Coker Inc.
TSN/WIC – Bluefield
