For as little as $5, you will be able to wear jeans to work one day next week. Pay $10 and you get a three-day pass. For $15 you can wear your jeans to work all week Oct. 15-19.
Sounds relaxing, doesn’t it?
It’s called Denim for a Difference and it’s a fundraiser for the United Way of Southern West Virginia.
Businesses, schools and other organizations that register with the United Way will allow their employees to wear jeans to work next week.
You get to be comfortable and the United Way gets bucks toward its $500,000 fundraising goal. It’s a win-win.
The United Way uses the money to fund the 32 nonprofit community organizations is supports in Raleigh, Fayette, Summers, Nicholas and Wyoming counties.
