A monthly meeting to allow Rainelle residents to discuss problems and talk to the police chief will be at 6:30 p.m. May 28 at Town Hall.
Rainelle Police Chief J.P. Stevens said, “This is a chance for the community to talk about the ongoing prescription drug problems and any other problems they are having.”
Stevens said the meetings are a chance for individuals with crime tips to come forward and for him to address problems he may not be aware of.
The meetings are always on the last Tuesday of every month. A recent story in The Register-Herald inadvertently listed the May meeting as being scheduled for May 15.
