West Virginia Division of Highways announces that road repairs will continue through June 12 on U.S. 219 in Lewisburg, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, according to James Moore, District Nine maintenance engineer.
The closure will start at the intersection of U.S. 219 and Lee Street to Montvue Drive. The center turn lane will be used as the alternating north/south bound lane.
Motorists are asked to observe all traffic control signs and devices and use caution in the work zone. Delays are expected; therefore, motorists should allow additional time for their commute or seek alternate routes.
The anticipated completion date is June 12. However, inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
