FAYETTEVILLE — A free grant-writing workshop will be offered at the Fayette County Courthouse March 7, sponsored by the Third District Accelerator program.

It is geared towards small businesses; civic, health and community organizations; students and educators; entrepreneurs; and anyone interested in economic growth in the region.

“For any individual or group hoping to learn more about writing successful grant applications, this is a great opportunity,” said Anne Barth of TechConnect WV, one of the event’s sponsoring partners.

“And it’s free,” she added.

The Third District Accelerator provides opportunities for business growth, entrepreneurship, and job generation in 10 southern West Virginia counties.

The grant-writing workshop runs from 1 to 4:30 p.m. in the County Commission Room of the Fayette County Courthouse in Fayetteville.
