FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers are now operating Monday through Friday only from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. to help West Virginians recover from the severe storms, flooding, mudslides and landslides that hit the state in June.
Disaster Recovery Centers are located in:
n Wyoming County at the Hanover Head Start Center, Old Route 52 S. next to Huff Consolidated School;
n Logan County at Logan County High School, 1 Wildcat Way, Logan;
n McDowell County at the National Guard Armory, 600 Stewart St. on W.Va. 16, Welch.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the West Virginia Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (WVDHSEM) and the U.S. Small Business Administration are providing grants, loans and other assistance in Lewis, Logan, McDowell, Mingo and Wyoming counties.
