Guardian Auto Glass is the newest business to join Mac’s Toy Fund’s effort to help make this holiday happier for more than 4,100 children in Raleigh County.
Guardian will donate 5 percent of the cost of all in-house jobs to Mac’s through Dec. 19.
Shady Spring Middle and High School cheerleaders are heading up the used coat drive again this year, and for the second year, Family Coin Laundry has donated its services to clean all the collected coats for free.
Bike donations are being accepted at Beckley Fire Station No. 3 on Eisenhower Drive and behind the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center and unwrapped new and used toys are being accepted at The Register-Herald, BJW Printing and the Beckley Sam’s Club.

City mourns retired police Capt. J.D. Meadows
