Multiple injuries were reported Wednesday after a three-vehicle wreck in Raleigh County, authorities said.
The accident on Robert C. Byrd Drive, near the Old Eccles Road intersection in MacArthur, was reported at 1:41 p.m., according to the Raleigh County Emergency Operations Center. Multiple ambulances were sent to the scene, but the exact number of people injured was not reported.
The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department was investigating the accident. The Register-Herald contacted the sheriff’s office Wednesday, but no further information was available.
