WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS — In keeping with the PGA TOUR’s commitment to charities, Jim Justice, chairman and owner of The Greenbrier, has announced The Greenbrier Classic’s Badges for Charity program.
Through this effort, registered 501(c)(3) organizations will be able to sell weekly badges from Nov. 12-Dec. 26 and earn 50 percent of the proceeds. The weekly badges for the event range from $147 to $5,000 each.
The official announcement of Badges for Charity will be held Thursday at The Greenbrier. Organizations that wish to be considered may send up to two representatives to the event and must provide proof of 501(c)(3) status.
