Three people were taken to local hospitals Sunday afternoon in a Daniels vehicle accident, authorities said.
The accident on Ritter Drive, in front of a Dollar General store, was reported to the Raleigh County Emergency Operations Center at 4:25 p.m. The number of reported vehicles involved varied between callers.
The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department is investigating. No further information was available.

A fun day at school
Students who participated in a school fundraiser at Cranberry-Prosperity Elementary School sprayed their principal Becky Smith during a hot Friday. Smith was decked out in flippers, goggles and floaties during the fun. Smith paraded past students as they drenched her with water guns.
