U.S. 219 in Greenbrier County was shut down for a half hour Wednesday morning after a pickup truck struck and killed a donkey.
Sheriff’s deputies said the accident occurred just after 6 a.m. about 2 miles north of Frankford.
The driver, Alexis Bostic of Renick, and a passenger sustained minor injuries.
