The Greenbrier County Sheriff Department will conduct a fundraiser Saturday at the Frankford Autumn Festival, starting at 9 a.m.
The event will raise money for Janson Reed Sheppard, the infant son of Deputy Brian Sheppard and wife Marsha. Janson was born Aug. 21, five weeks premature, and had to undergo emergency heart surgery in Pittsburgh. He has been hospitalized since due to complications.
The fundraiser will include a raffle, a Dunk-A-Deputy booth, Pop A Cop With A Pie booth and a bake sale. All proceeds will go to Janson’s family to assist with expenses.
The GCSD thanks these businesses that have donated to make this fundraiser possible: Fairlea Kroger, Lewisburg Wal-Mart, Lewisburg True Value and First National Bank of Ronceverte. Thanks also to the Frankford Autumn Festival Committee for donating the space for the fundraiser, and to the citizens of Greenbrier County who have donated money and baked goods.
Anyone who wants to donate, to assist or needs any information, can contact Bart Baker at the Greenbrier County Sherriff Department at 304-647-6634.
