A Wednesday morning head-on collision left one woman dead and another in critical condition when the driver of a car tried to pass another vehicle, according to the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department.
Chief Deputy Dave Stafford said officers responded to the crash about 9 a.m. on Bolt Road (W.Va. 99) in Fairdale.
