Richwood man dies in single vehicle accident

A Richwood man died early Thursday morning in a single-vehicle accident on Cranberry River Road near Richwood.

The Nicholas County Sheriff's Department said Robert S. Holcomb, 22, was driving his Jeep Cherokee about 1 a.m. Thursday when he lost control while negotiating a curve. The vehicle overturned, killing Holcomb instantly, according the the sheriff's department's press release.

Deputy S.K. Neal is the investigating officer.
