Beckley Praise Church Pastor Paul Chapman is a man of his word.
Recently he made the children of the church a promise — if they could get 60 more people to come to church, he would preach from the roof top.
The youngsters were able to get 103 during a membership drive. True to his word, Pastor Chapman spoke from the roof top of the Elm Street building Sunday.

A fun day at school
Students who participated in a school fundraiser at Cranberry-Prosperity Elementary School sprayed their principal Becky Smith during a hot Friday. Smith was decked out in flippers, goggles and floaties during the fun. Smith paraded past students as they drenched her with water guns.
