Donations for the 78th annual Mac’s Toy Fund have begun to arrive. Following are the most recent donors to this year’s campaign:
- Emmett S. Pugh of Beckley, for grandchildren Sara, Mason, Andrew and Reece; “Thanks for all that the toy fund does for our community;” $50
- Dan and Cynthia Bickey of Beckley, in profound gratitude for our eight grandchildren, Evva, Chloe, Danny, Jonah, Maia, Baxter, Lucy and soon-to-be-born Olivia; $200.

A fun day at school
Students who participated in a school fundraiser at Cranberry-Prosperity Elementary School sprayed their principal Becky Smith during a hot Friday. Smith was decked out in flippers, goggles and floaties during the fun. Smith paraded past students as they drenched her with water guns.
