Mac's Toy Fund
Donations for the 78th annual Mac’s Toy Fund have begun to arrive. Following are the first donors to this year’s campaign:
- Dr. George T. Arnold of Shady Spring, in memory of his wife, Connie Kish Arnold; her father, Alex Thomas Kish; and his parents, George and Cris Arnold; $100.
- Mrs. Lillian J. Melton of Beckley, $50.

Moderate flooding reported in Greenbrier County
Emergency officials are reporting moderate flooding of small streams in western Greenbrier County, with the Greenbrier River not expected to crest until 7 p.m. or later Saturday.
