A man who police say drove his motorcycle off a Nicholas County airport runway Friday evening and died has been identified.
Dennis Molnar, 50, of 4180 Americana Drive, Apt. 204, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, was pronounced dead at the scene by the county medical examiner, the sheriff’s department said.
Deputies said Molnar drove his 2002 Honda motorcycle off the runway at Rader Field in Summersville, over a chain-link fence and into a wooded area. Airport personnel found him.
No information was available about why Molnar was on the runway.
Sheriff’s Cpl. B.J. Holdren is the investigating officer.
