Taste of Home Cooking show set for tonight


- Doors open at 4:30 p.m. today for the Homemade for the Holidays Taste of Home Cooking Show at the Tamarack Conference Center. The show begins promptly at 6:30 p.m.

- Ticket-holders should bring canned food or other nonperishable food items or money for a donation to Fishes and Loaves Food Bank, which will have a drop-off booth inside the conference center.

- Local sponsors are The Register-Herald, Wal-Mart of MacArthur, Sears and Tamarack Conference Center.

- National sponsors are Crisco, Crosse & Blackwell, Dickinsons, Dofino, Mrs. Dash! and Taste of Home Entertaining.

- The following vendors will have booths open for display at 4:30 p.m. — New York Life; Flowers by Nancy; Tamarack Conference Center; Beauti Control; Jockey Person to Person; The Pampered Chef; Artrageous Studio; Jewels by Park Lane; Belk; Lia Sophia Jewelry/Beijo Bags; Sundance Catering and Confections; Home and Garden Party; Taste of Home Entertaining; Sears (Heroes at Home Program) and Cooks Who Care (Taste of Home); Sam’s Club; and Special Families Autism Workshop.
