Traffic re-routed after wreck

Two people were taken to a hospital Saturday night after a wreck reportedly involving a car, a motorcycle and a pedestrian, authorities said.

The wreck on North Eisenhower Drive in Beckley was reported around 8:30 p.m., according to the Raleigh County Emergency Operations Center. Two people were taken to Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital.

Police officers at the scene were diverting traffic onto Hedrick Street, then Bailey Avenue, then back onto Eisenhower, the EOC said.

The Beckley Police Department was investigating the accident Saturday night.
