A Raleigh County teenager was killed after a Thursday afternoon ATV accident, according to police.
Daniel T. Jeffreys, 19, of Beaver, was pronounced dead at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital at 6:45 p.m. Thursday, Cpl. T.L. Miles of the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department said.
Around 5:10 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to a single-vehicle ATV accident on Old Crow Road in Beaver, Miles said. Jeffreys was driving a 2006 Suzuki ATV when he struck a tree and was ejected from the ATV, Miles added. Jeffreys was the ATV’s lone occupant.
Miles said the investigation is now closed.

A fun day at school
