The Rockefeller clan just keeps growing.
The newest addition is Lucille “Lucy” Natalia Wayne, the fourth grandchild of Sen. and Mrs. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va.
Lucy arrived Monday night and is the second child of the couple’s daughter, Valerie, and her husband Steve Wayne. Percy Abigail Wayne, the first daughter born to them, turns 2 in November.
“We are absolutely thrilled for Valerie and Steve, and this new addition to their family,” the grandparents said.
“As the parents of four children, we know very well the joy that comes from bringing a new child into this world. We are so grateful to have another healthy and happy grandchild.”
Valerie Rockefeller Wayne was born and raised in Charleston, while her father was governor of West Virginia.
She now lives in New York and St. Petersburg, Russia, with her husband.
She once worked in special education for children.
Her husband is the founder and owner of the Jensen Group, a venture capital firm based in St. Petersburg.
The Rockefellers have two other grandchildren, Laura Chandler Rockefeller and Sophia Percy Rockefeller, daughters of son John and his wife, Emily.
