Car reportedly strikes beauty salon

Police in Raleigh County were investigating an accident in which a vehicle struck a beauty salon, authorities reported.

The incident at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday reportedly involved a vehicle in a Ragland Road accident that ricocheted and struck the edge of La Contessa Beauty Salon, according to information from the Raleigh County Emergency Operations Center. The number of any resulting injuries was unknown.

The accident was under investigation by the Beckley Police Department. No further information was available.
