Injury reported at local mine accident
One person was transported to Beckley-Appalachian Regional Hospital Wednesday evening after a “rib roller” reportedly fell on his leg at a Raleigh County coal mine, an emergency services supervisor said.
The accident occurred at the Lillybrook No. 3 Mine.
No further information was available Wednesday night.
