FROM STAFF REPORTS
The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department will be conducting increased patrols and sobriety checkpoints during November. The focus of these patrols will be to identify impaired drivers under the influence of alcohol and/or other drugs. Officers will also be looking for revoked and/or suspended drivers and any traffic and highway safety related violations of law.
Increased patrols and check points are made possible by a grant through the West Virginia Commission on Drunk Driving Prevention.
