BECKLEY —
Beckley Police are searching for a suspect who attempted to rob Beckley Pharmacy on Stanaford Road.
Police were dispatched when a burglar alarm sounded at approximately 1:45 a.m. Friday.
Detective M.G. Bragg said when police arrived at the scene, they found a fairly extensive amount of damage to the building where the suspect gained entry, but nothing was stolen.
No injuries were reported.
Police are reviewing video footage and have developed a person of interest, according to Bragg.
