A Raleigh County man who sheriff’s detectives say fired multiple shots at an occupied vehicle is charged with three felonies.
Danny Lee Adkins, 47, of Piney View, is charged with three counts of wanton endangerment, according to a release from Detective J.E. Williams and Deputy R.L. Talley of the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department. Whether or not Adkins was being held or released on bond was unknown Monday night.
Around noon Monday, Talley was dispatched to a reported shooting in the 700 block of Stonewall Road in Piney View, the release stated. Adkins is charged with firing several rounds with a handgun at a vehicle another man was driving. Three other people — an adult man, an adult woman and a juvenile — are listed as the three victims.
No injuries were reported in this incident, the release stated. The investigation is still ongoing.
