Nicholas County Route 5, Nile Road, from milepost 0.00 to milepost 0.01, from 0.70 miles east of W.Va. 41 to intersection of CR 8 and CR 5, will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to James Moore, West Virginia Division of Highways District Nine maintenance engineer.
The closure will allow state crews to complete a culvert pipe replacement. Traffic will be detoured onto CR 15/4, Alderson Church Road, during this scheduled time period.
Motorists are advised to use caution and observe all traffic control signs and devices. Also, expect delays and allow additional time for their commute.
Please be advised that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances may change the work schedule.
