Pretty in Pink contestants are still being accepted

The fourth annual Little Miss/Little Mister Pretty in Pink pageant will be hosted Saturday at the Woodrow Wilson High School auditorium.

Contestants are still being accepted.

The pageant will recognize Breast Cancer Awareness month, as well as raise money for Newspapers in Education and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Pageant entry fee is $40 and every contestant will receive a crown and a trophy. Elite and ultimate supremes will receive a crown, trophy, sash and cash prize.

Side awards in each division for Pretty in Pink include sweetie, prettiest hair, prettiest eyes, prettiest smile and most photogenic.

Fan favorite votes can be cast for $1 per vote. The winner will receive a crown, sash, trophy and gift.

To show support for breast cancer awareness, attire will be anything with pink.

The first pageant will be for boys ages 0 to 23 months, 2 to 4, and 5 and up; girls under 1, 1, and 2. Registration will be from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. and the pageant will begin at noon.

The second pageant will be for girls ages 3, 4, 5 to 6, 7 to 8, 9 to 10, 11 to 12, 13 to 15, and 16 to 21. Registration will be from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m. and the pageant will begin at 4 p.m.

Entertainment will be provided by Funny Bones during second pageant scoring.

Each contestant will need to bring an 8 by 10 or 5 by 7 natural photo to registration the day of the pageant. No frames or retouched photos will be accepted. Additional photos can be entered for $5 each.
