Rainelle hosting Fall Sale-a-bration

RAINELLE — The Methodist Women of Rainelle United Methodist Church are inviting area residents to come out Saturday to sample soups at the annual Rainelle UMC Fall Sale-a-bration.

Potato-kale soup, pinto beans and Mexican cornbread, broccoli-cheese soup, vegetable soup and chili are some of the dishes that group members will be serving.

“We’re going to have all kinds of soup,” promised Monica Venable, a church member.

Desserts will also be served. Vendors at the event will be offering Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple, Tupperware, primitive crafts, baked goods and more, she added.

The Sale-a-bration is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. Proceeds from the fair will sponsor the Come Event, which celebrates Christian missions work and funds service groups that include the Burlington Center and Greenbrier District.

More information is available by calling Venable at Smathers Funeral Home at 304-438-6141.
