The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a 10:30 a.m. Monday morning accident on W.Va. 16 in Glen Jean, confirmed the Fayette County Emergency Operations Center.
At least one individual was injured and transported to a local hospital.
One tractor-trailer towing a garbage truck and two other vehicles were involved, but the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
Mount Hope and Oak Hill fire departments and Jan-Care Ambulance Service responded to the scene, said the dispatcher.
