BECKLEY —
To celebrate Black History Month, the Raleigh County Senior Center will present “A Voice from Harper’s Ferry” at 11 a.m. Friday.
Joseph Bundy will portray Osborne Perry Anderson, the only one of the five African-American members of John Brown’s Raiders in 1859 who escaped and remained free.
The center is located on South Kanawha Street.
The performance is made possible through the West Virginia Humanities Council.
