$1 million Powerball ticket sold in Beckley still unclaimed

The Associated Press

BECKLEY — A winning $1 million Powerball ticket has yet to be claimed a month after it was sold at a Little General convenience store in Beckley.

The winning numbers for the March 16 drawing were 3-7-21-44-55, and the Powerball number was 16.

The winning ticket matched each of the first five numbers.

West Virginia Lottery spokesman Randy Burnside said it’s rare for big prizes to go unclaimed.

But there’s still time. The winner has until Sept. 16 to claim the prize.
