The local chapter of the Knights of Columbus, a Catholic fraternal benefits organization, will be hosting a series of Fish Fry Fridays during Lent.
Grand Knight Sande Genung said they hosted the event a few years ago and decided to bring it back this year.
Each Friday from Feb. 22 to March 22, a fish fry will be from 4 to 7 p.m. in the basement of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 614 S. Oakwood Ave.
Genung said baked tilapia or fried white fish will be on the menu; adults can eat for $7.50 and kids can eat for $3.50.
The church is trying to purchase a new organ, which will cost $200,000. All proceeds from this event will benefit the organ fund.
