Beaver Volunteer Fire Department responded to a car fire just after 10 a.m. in the northbound lane of the West Virginia Turnpike Monday near the Ghent exit, reported the Raleigh County Emergency Operations Center.
The passengers escaped the vehicle, which was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. The roadway was not closed, said the dispatcher. No other information was available.
