The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will host a public meeting Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Summers County Memorial Building, 97 Park Ave., Hinton, to provide the latest information about the Bluestone Dam.
Topics will include construction plans and progress, modifications to the dam’s day-to-to day operation and discussion of possible high water events.
The meeting will include a presentation by Huntington District Commander Col. Robert Peterson, which will be followed by a question-and-answer session.

Cities to receive housing grants
