Early riders wait for the start of the Colby “Dawg” Jackson Memorial Ride Saturday at Songer Whitewater in Hico.
Jackson died Dec. 2, 2007, as a result of a previously undiagnosed disease called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, also known as HCM.
He was 33. The ride was designed to raise money for research into the disease.
