Assessor brings services out into the community

BECKLEY — The Raleigh County assessor is bringing her office to the public this month.

Office personnel will be available to assist in filing an assessment form, signing up for the homestead/disability exemption and purchasing dog tags.  

Locations and times are:

July 9, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Coal Marsh Missionary Baptist Church, 274 Logan Turnpike, Glen Daniel

July 11, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Raleigh County Commission On Aging, 1614 S. Kanawha St., Beckley

July 12, noon to 3 p.m., Sophia Volunteer Fire Department, 201 Riffe St., Sophia

July 16, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Ghent Volunteer Fire Department, 2651 Flat Top Road, Ghent

These services are provided for the benefit of all Raleigh County residents by the Assessor’s Office, Drema B. Evans, assessor.
