Wyoming hauls in 4 on drug charges


— Four people were arrested in Wyoming County as a result of illegal drug activity, according to Sheriff Randall Aliff.

Authorities executed a search warrant Friday night in East Pineville which resulted in the arrests of three people, Aliff said.

Bobby Moore, 53, of New York, was charged with three counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

Donald Lester, 53, of Clear Fork, was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

Melissa Lester, 52, of Clear Fork, was also charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

Officers also confiscated 120 assorted pills and $2,000 in cash, Aliff said.

The investigation was conducted by the Southern Regional West Virginia Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force and the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department, Aliff said.

On Saturday, Deputy J.W. Clemins was investigating a parole violation in the Oceana area and discovered four marijuana plants.

As a result, Chase Justice, 24, of Oceana, was charged with cultivation of marijuana.

The investigations are continuing.
